W.C. Clark, born in Austin, began playing guitar in the early 1950s and secured his first paying gig at 16 at the Victory Grill. He later established Southern Feeling and performed with the Triple Threat Revue alongside Stevie Ray Vaughan, evolving into a respected blues artist and mentor to numerous Austin musicians. A recipient of multiple awards, he passed away on March 2, 2024, at 84 years old. This stage is built and named in his honor.
